Caprese Chicken for Dinner Tonight

Caprese Chicken for Dinner Tonight

The perfect recipe for Caprese Chicken. This easy, summer-friendly dish is quick, cheap, and delicious! Caprese Chicken is a dinner recipe that is both healthy and delicious. It's perfect for dinner tonight! The chicken breasts are rubbed with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper before they're baked in the oven until cooked through. Once they're done cooking, top them with fresh mozzarella cheese slices along with sliced tomatoes and basil leaves.

Caprese Chicken Pasta

When you roast your veggies, sweeten your tomatoes and render your courgettes crispy while drinking balsamic marinade. Now, when you burn your veggies, there could seem to be more marinade/olive oil, but it is fine since the whole rusting pan of the body is to be added to our pasta - Tomatoes, asparagus, courgettes, and all the seasoned roasted garlic olive oil. Caprese Chicken Pasta

Ingredients:

  • Caprese Marinade (basically balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic)
  • Two cups of cherry tomatoes halved or quartered depending on the size. Halve your cherry tomatoes horizontally if you have small ones and quarters for bigger ones. Don't forget to pop out any seeds! They're great in salads, though, so save them too. Trust me, and I know what's up with this tomato business...they are not all created equal sometimes. Those little watery buggers will fuck up an entire batch of sauce or soup just by being there.

Grilled Caprese Chicken

It is the perfect summer supper for the Grilled chicken Caprese. I'm using my garden's fresh tomatoes and basil. The dish is straightforward but so delicious! The chicken breast is seasoned with Italian spices, powdered garlic, and onion. I then cook the chicken with a piece of Mozzarella, tomato, basil, and a drizzle with a homemade balsamic reduction, topping each breast. And on the grill, I place a grape tomato and basil leaf for garnish.

Caprese Turkey Burgers

The Caprese Salad is a typical flavor inspired by numerous food in our home. The trinity of wine, Mozzarella, and basil, ripe summer tomatoes, cannot be beaten! And while I'm not convinced if the original classic can come close to anything, this burger is indeed insanely excellent.

Ingredients: Caprese turkey burger

  • Ground Turkey Breast - Caprese Salad (Mozzarella, Tomato, Basil) - Grape Tomatoes & Fresh Basil Leaves for Garnish.

Instructions: Cook a ground turkey breast with seasonings and add pieces of Mozzarella to melt the cheese while grilling. Add Caprese salad ingredients as desired on top before serving.

This Capresso Burger is so good that I must recommend it! The trinity of wine, Mozzarella, and basil mixed to create an insanely delicious flavor and taste when grilled into this Capresso Turkey Burger! It's full of summer flavors, from the tomatoes to the fresh basil leaves, making this incredible dish.

The perfect recipe for chicken caprese. This easy, summer-friendly dish is quick, cheap and delicious!

Ingredients

Scale

Recommended Equipment

  • Rolling Pin
  • Instant Read Thermometer
  • Grill pan
  • Parchment Paper

Ingredients

  • 4 5-7 oz chicken breasts, pounded to even thickness
  • 2 tsp italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp sea or kosher salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced into 8 even pieces
  • 2 vine ripened tomatoes, sliced into ½" slices
  • fresh basil, to taste
  • aged balsamic or balsamic glaze, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken. Place one chicken breast onto a sheet of parchment paper. Fold the paper over the chicken. Using a rolling pin, pound the chicken breast to even thickness of a little less than 1". Set aside and repeat with the remaining chicken breasts.
  2. Combine the italian seasoning, sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper in a small bowl. Stir to combine.
  3. Brush the chicken with olive oil, then sprinkle with the seasoning blend. Flip the chicken oven, then oil and season the other side.
  4. Heat a grill or grill pan over high heat. Place the chicken breasts onto the grill and cook 5-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reads 155°F using an instant read thermometer (the chicken will come to proper temperature in the next step).
  5. Top each chicken breast with 2 slices fresh mozzarella. Continue grilling 3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the internal temperature reads 165°F.
  6. Place the chicken breasts onto a platter or individual plates. Top each chicken breast with 2-3 slices of fresh tomatoes, then sprinkle with fresh basil and additional salt and pepper to taste. Just before serving, drizzle with aged balsamic vinegar or balsamic reduction. Serve immediately.
